The Classics Are Back!

While we are unfortunately still not finished with some important new projects (like the new Brixton Cats release, or new designs, or the new website…) we have gotten around and finally re-printed a lot of the much loved classic Fire and Flames designs, many of which have been sold out in quite a few sizes for at least several months. Here they are, all of the below listed are available again in sizes S-XXL, and most „girls cut“ sizes as well. Enjoy!

Piracy

Alerta Antifascista

Stop Control ( also in Black )

Ultrantifascista

Kick Fascism and Nationalism

All Power (also in Red)

Makhnovtchina

Flaming Star
(also available in Red and Purple)

And finally, a couple of re-prints that are so classic, there are even still real live human beings modeling them…

Taking a Break from the Madness, New Literature: Classics from Bakunin, Proudhon, Makhno, Kropotkin, etc. / WW2 Resistance Memoirs / Others…

Just when we thought we had enough of our hands with the 1st of May, the new collections, the new shop, the solidarity concerts and the who knows how many other projects we have running parallel to each other, comes a little more in the form of a delivery of books from the great and glorious AK Press.

Six new titles, as well as several re-stocks. Classics, WW2 resistance memoirs, Crimethinc texts, make the bulk of this series. As usual, clickify on the picture to read further infos about each one.

„the „passion for destruction“ is a call to build a new world free of oppression, not a cult of violence. He argues that anarchism is a philosophy of morality and solidarity, based not on wishful thinking or naïve beliefs about the goodness of humanity but on a practical, radical critique of wealth and power.“

He wrote that „Property is Theft,“ but he also wrote a whole hell of a lot of less known stuff as well, it probably wouldnt hurt you to read about it.

Two terribly painfully strong and inspiring memoirs of armed Jewish resistance to the Nazis during World War 2. Highly, highly suggested reading.

Finally, the re-stocks include „Anarchist Morality“ by Peter Kropotkin, a collection of essays by Nestor Makhno, Partisanas, as well as „Days of War, Nights of Love“ from Crimethinc.

New AK Press Books in Literature Catalogue…

Our English literature section just got a whole lot bigger, thanks to the latest delivery from AK Press. You can see all the new additions here. While choosing favorites or highlights is of course a very arbitrary and subjective endeavor, here is an attempt…

„History of the Makhnovist Movement,“ by Peter Arshinov

An authoritative history of the Makhnovist movement, written by somebody with direct relation to Makhno himself. Excellent for mapping out the anarchist characteristics of the Makhnovist movement, and laying to rest some of the more stubborn propaganda claiming them anti-semitic.

„Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution,“ by Peter Kropotkin

One of the most classic and influential pieces of anarchist writing, relevant just as much today as when it was written. A scholarly refutation of social darwinism, and as the title clearly states, well reasoned argument for the importance of mutual aid.

„Paradoxes of Utopia: Anarchist Culture and Politics in Buenos Aires 1890-1910,“ by Juan Suriano

An excellent look at the insides of the vibrant cultural and political world that was the anarchist movement in Buenos Aires at the turn of the 19th century. An exciting and living insight into one of the worlds largest, and most forgotten, anarchist movements.
