Remember Pavlos Fyssas !

One year ago on september 18th 2013 the antifascist activist Pavlos Fyssas, who also performed as a rap-artist under the name KillahP, was stabbed to death by a member of the greek neonazi-party Chrysi Avgi in a suburb of Athens. In several cities all over Europe comrades and friends of Pavlos will remember him and every other victim of fascist violence today. It’s up to us never to give in and to continue the resistance against the threat of fascism and to oppose its protagonists. The murder on Pavlos which happened in the midst of the social decline in Greece following the economic crisis also warns us, that antifascism always needs to be connected with the struggle against the capitalist crisis system and its austerity politics too. NEVER FORGET THE VICTIMS OF FASCISM! REST IN PEACE PAVLOS!

Stand strong free Rojava!

Now since more than two years the amazing but sadly often ignored revolutionary and democratic project in the Kurdish-Syrian region of Rojava and its capital Kobane is resisting the attacks of its reactionary enemies. These days this piece of hope in a part of the world, which seems to sink in a bog of war, calculated destabilisation by the western imperialist states and the rivalities among different reactionary clans and movements, is highly endangered by a military offensive of the fundamentalist IS. With this month’s solidarity coin of our online shop we want to give some support to the donation campaign of medico international for the people of free Rojava.

Never forget the victims of police violence : Remember Halim Dener!

We support the nationwide demonstration in remembrance of the 16 years old kurdish refugee Halim Dener, who was killed by the german police in 1994 while pasting posters with the symbol of the criminalised kurdish liberation organisation ERNK. 20 years later many antifascist, leftist and kurdish groups call to the streets of Hanover on June 21st 2014 to make a stand against police violence, the european racist regime, state repression and the continuing prohibition of the PKK, which actually means the oppression of every kind of political activity of our kurdish comrades. In the case of Halim it was even deadly.

There are organised journeys from different german cities, so there’s no reason left not to show up overthere because … REMEMBERING MEANS FIGHTING!

Athens: Social Meltdown

A fitting video on the occasion of the general strike taking place in Greece today.

Just one of several very current pieces which should make very clear, especially to the moralists who intend to give antagonist social forces lessons on violence, where the real, systematic, and murderous violence lies.

Otherwise, current updates on events around the general strike today in Greece can as usual be found on Occupied London.

„Femme de la Rue“ or „What Does a Woman Need to Feel Safe in the Street?… A Man!“

Harassment, insults, and generally attitudes and behaviors towards women that will, and should, take your breathe away. What does a woman need according to some of these relics from the stone age in order to be left in peace when walking down the street? The company of a man of course.

The following documentary chronicles the experience of a young woman in Brussels…

In Argentina, there have recently been some efforts to show men, who obviously dont have these experiences quite so often and seem to be seriously misguided about how much women „enjoy“ such „compliments, what it „feels like“ and how much women „appreciate“ the treatment. In Spanish, no subtitles, and no will to translate, but still understandable:
