Just when you think you cant hate bureaucrats more…French „Sans Papiers“ Delivered to Cops by Bank Teller

Just when you think you cant hate some people more, something like this comes along. Summarized translation: An „illegal“ immigrant went to the bank to withdraw some money. The cashier/banker, upon realizing that his ID card was fake, proceeded to lock the doors of the bank and call the police, while the man desperately attempted to exit the bank.

This is of course repulsive enough that it needs no further extenuating circumstances, but still: He had been living in France since 2002, and was a client of said bank since 2005, time at which he opened an account there…using the same fake ID.

Let it also be noted, that Boulogne is a hateful nest of old reactionaries, and at least until some years ago the national headquarters of the Front National. It is therefore not difficult to imagine the old reactionary sack of shit sitting at his miserable little bureaucrat job in a failed existance now imagining that he did a heroic act by destroying some persons life.

And speaking of Boulogne…during my Paris years I had a looong commute to school (walk-subway-change subway-bus-arrival), and my change from subway to bus took place in Boulogne, not far from the FN headquarters. For a few weeks, it occurred regularly that some of the „youth“ of the FN thought they should share with me that „anarchistes de merde“ werent welcome in the neighborhood. I looked at them with confused entertainment, and calmly explained that they were making a grave mistake. Soon after, I „went to school“ accompanied by about 15 comrades for a few days until we once again had the pleasure of „speaking“ with these fine young French patriots. Long story told shortly and without implicating anybody in any crimes: I took the same route for a further two years or so, and never once did anybody even so much as look in my direction again. „I get by with a little help from my friends“ and such…:-)
