- In Greece, fascists disguised as „concerned citizens“ get what apparently is the go-ahead to attack a long-standing anarchist squat from the Vice Minister for Public Order!!!! They can be seen here below chatting with Mr Markoyanakis, a man whose career was launched during the last military dictatorship…clearly, old habits die hard. Soon after this meeting, fascists attacked the squat with molotov cocktails. Fortunately, their attack was repelled by the anarchists present.

Not three days later, police surrounded a refugee settlement in the port of Patras, quickly proceeding to arrest any Greek people in solidarity with the migrants, while evicting the migrants. Soon afterwards, the settlement looked like this…

Occupied London sums it up well…
The smoke of the fire makes it evidently clear: The greek state is resorting to totalitarian, fascist practices as a last resort to cover up the lack of whatever legitimacy it previously enjoyed – and to desperately grip control of the situation. Through the flames, we can see: The state’s “social peace” is war; the tranquility and quiet safeguarded by the ”ordinary people just doing their job”, is death.
Less mediatic, but not necessarily less important…
Cops in Paris evicted two squats last week. During a relatively uneventful action in solidarity with the evicted squats, police began shooting with their „flashball“ guns directly at peoples upper bodies. The end result: one comrade lost an eye. A demonstration is scheduled for tomorrow, hopefully many comrades will turn out to express their anger and solidarity.
Speaking of the French police, a young man died in their custody a few days ago. The police claim suicide, family and friends have their doubts. Judging from experience….Im not extending them the benefit of the doubt, and fortunately youths in the suburbs arent either.
